This is our sweet little Sherman 17 years ago. He has followed me around as my little shadow from the first day we brought him home.
This was taken almost 8 years ago, right before Ben was born. I was totally rocking the Tweety Bird maternity shorty-short nightgown, don't ya think? The black ankle socks really topped off this stylish ensemble.
And here's our Kick-A-Poo now. At age 17, he can sleep whenever and where ever he wants......even if it's right under the kitchen table.
17!!!! Wow. You must treat your baby well. Sherman is an adorable name for a cat. Orange kittens have always been a weakness of mine. One was named Boo, another was Ernie, and number three was Butter. I think it might be time for a new one. :)
“[Jesus Predicts His Death a Third Time] Now Jesus was going up to Jerusalem. On the way, he took the Twelve aside and said to them, “We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!”” -Matthew 20: 17-19
I am a fashionably clueless stay-at-home mommy, married to my one true love for 18 years. We have a 9 year old son, a 7 year old daughter and one angel baby. We also have two kitties (Sherman who is 18 1/2 years old and Casper who is 13.) I am a recovering perfectionist, who loves white chocolate macadamia nut cookies and watching Wednesday night tv. If lovin' The Middle, Modern Family and Cougar Town is wrong, then I don't wanna be right. So, cozy up to your computer in your most comfty pajamas and fuzziest slippers, and join me as I fumble through this thing called motherhood (hopefully, with some amount of dignity and grace.) And if anything personifies digity and grace, it's definitely flannel and fuzzy slippers.
Cats make such great pets, sometimes! I'm a cat lover!
